The subject teaches the proportions of the male and female forms. The course progresses from the skeletal structures of the figure, to the musculature of the figure, and finally, to the surface forms of the figure. Each trimester analyses the different parts of the body in a logical manner. The course further applies anatomical principles to models within dynamic life drawing sessions. By the end of the course, students will have acquired the knowledge to accurately draw the figure without reference material.
